A Wiregrass Christian rapper aims to share a positive message to the world.
Daniel Evans of Chancellor, Ala. has been rapping for the past 23 years. Earlier this afternoon he performed in Enterprise, Ala. for the Johns Chapel AME Church "youth explosion". Evans says his music is for anyone who likes to be encouraged.
"I grew up listening to other rappers like T-Bone and everything like that. You know I always liked rap though. I accepted the Lord in my heart at an early age so I figured that I could start writing rap which I started doing at ten years old. You know I feel like it could help people so I decided to come up with some lyrics to help people and witness through the testimony of Christian rap," said Evans.
Daniel is currently working on a project entitled "God is the Protector" which is expected to be released after November.
