Dinosaurs Roar in to Dothan

Dinosaurs took center stage this afternoon at the National Peanut Festival fairgrounds. Karen Phillips and her son J.T. enjoyed the interactive display but this was more than just a fun experience for them.

"He's always wanted to be a paleontologist and we study a lot about dinosaurs and we are really excited that this came to Dothan to give him an opportunity for him to see what it's like,” said Phillips.

“Discover the Dinosaurs” also allowed people to participate in a scavenger hunt where they had an opportunity to win a door prize.

"I'm glad that it came, I mean it really gives kids a whole different view on what dinosaurs were," said Phillips.

From life-like movement and noises the pre-historic creatures allowed children to go back in time and take what they've learned into the future. Today's event featured dinosaur rides, miniature golf, and some bouncy bins for the kids.
