Water World officials say they've been prepping the park for it's opening; cleaning and testing the pools to make sure everything is working properly, as well as interviewing and hiring staff.
They say it's not just about getting the pools ready, water world officials are making sure their employees are ready too.
"In house, we teach American Red Cross lifeguard training classes and we choose from that crop of candidates, the best people for the job, the ones that really could perform and rescue people, " says Kelly Carter, Aquatics Manager of Water World.
Water world will be open Saturday, May 3rd.
