Wallace Community College Holds Science Decathlon

Wiregrass Middle and High School students participated in a science competition on Friday.

Wallace Community College held its first-ever science decathlon. Students were involved in hands-on activities like crime scene investigation. They also dropped eggs off the second floor balcony did performed cell analysis.

Organizers say this program was an effort to build interest in science. A student from Dothan High School won the competition and received a $1,500 scholarship.
