Twitter and Relationships

Can 140 characters ruin your relationship?

One new study says that tweeting may lead to infidelity and divorce. The University of Missouri just released a study that found, the more active you are on twitter, the more twitter-related conflict you may have with your partner

According to the study, internet fighting can lead to negative relationship outcomes like cheating and separation.

The study also found that twitter tweeted up problems for couples regardless of the length of their relationship.

Couples who were in long-term relationships were just as vulnerable as those in new relationships.

However, they also admit that other factors may come in to play in relationships that are struggling.

Either way, cutting back social media use to a healthy, more moderate level leaves more time for smooching, or talking, or doing whatever it is you and your significant other like to do.
