Target's big security breach may soon become the subject of a new film, at least in part.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Sony has bought the rights to a New York Times article about the security blogger who first exposed the breach.
The article, "Reporting from the Web's Underbelly," details how Brian Krebs' blog about cybercrime has prompted criminals to hack him repeatedly, send heroin and excrement to his home and falsely accuse him of murder.
The movie is expected to be a cyber-thriller.
