The Salvation Army believes that there should be presents under the tree for every Wiregrass child on Christmas. That is why they have kicked off their red kettle and angle tree campaign.
Students from Highland Elementary School sang during Friday afternoon’s ceremony. This year, there are more than one thousand names on the tree. The mall is the only one of the locations where you can pick an angle.
Local Taco Bell’s and KFC’s are also participating in the program. All angel tree present has to be turned in by December 13th.
