Ozark City Teachers Get to Keep Jobs

Some teachers at one local school will get to keep their jobs.

Money from the Title One Plan for the coming school year has been reduced because of government sequestration. That means Ozark City Schools have decided to cut title one services.

Instead they proposed title two funding that employs teachers and provides professional development to them.

Each year the school district writes a plan to explain how they hope to use their federal funds. It is ultimately up to the state department of education to approve the plan.
