Oprah Winfrey is selling Harpo studios in Chicago to a developer.
"The Oprah Winfrey show" was taped at the studio from 1990 until 2011. A representative for Harpo issued a statement saying they had entered a purchasing agreement with sterling bay.
The studio will stay on the property for another two years and it will "continue to produce programming for OWN."
Oprah Winfrey is jumping into politics, again.
The media mogul is set to appear at a fundraiser for Lavern Chatman, a candidate for congress in northern Virginia.
The two have been friends for years.
