National Peanut Festival Beings Friday

It is that time of the year again!

The 70th annual National Peanut Festival is only a few days away. Gates open at 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1.

In addition to all the great food and fund rides, there will be concerts, special days and shows.

If music is on your to-do list, be sure to check out Easton Corbin on Tuesday, Nov. 5 and ‘Need to Breathe’ on Thursday, Nov. 7. Both shows start at 7:30 p.m.

You can catch crowd favorites, the greased pig, mutton bustin and calf scramble on Monday, Nov.4.

On Saturday, you can catch the demolition derby between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Jousting knights, petting zoos and the Edge Wheel Action show can all be found at the festival too.
