The George Washington Carver Museum has a new exhibit in celebration of Black History Month.
It is called the "Threads of a Story."
It features six mugshot from the Montgomery Bus Boycott and Freedoms Rides of the Civil Rights Movement.
The portraits are a combination a mixed media with bright colors, collages and fingerprints.
"There is even a white woman featured here and I think this will show our young people that Black History is more like American History and it is not about black and white it is about right and wrong," said Precious Freeman, interim executive director.
The exhibit will be up throughout the month of February.
