Monitoring Screen Time

If you think your kids are spending too much time in front of a screen, you're not alone.

The American Academy of Pediatrics is recommending parents manage their children's media use.

In the journal article, the doctors group advises parents to set mealtime and bedtime curfews for media devices and to keep them out of bedrooms. The article cites a recent study that says kids ages eight to ten spend nearly eight hours a day with different media. For older kids and teens the average is more than 11-hours a day.
