Lightning Strike Destroys Barn

Some campers had a scarey start to their morning.

A pre-dawn lightning strike from a severe line of storms destroyed a storage building and thousands of dollars in equipment inside.

The strike happened around 5 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29. Campers say they saw a lightening bold directly hit the barn. The structure went up in flames in a matter of minutes.

The building contained thousands of dollars of music equipment that was being stored there for the upcoming Bluegrass Festival.
