New advertisements are coming to photo-sharing service “instagram” and they look an awful lot like instagrams.
The social network is showing off an image of what they say will be its first paid ad to appear in user’s feeds next week.
It looks like an instagram post, but it will be designated as “sponsored”. The Facebook owned app is selling ads to companies already active on the service, including Adidas, Ben and Jerry’s, GE, Levi’s, Lexus and others.
Uvers will be able to hide ads that do not interest them and leave feedback. Instagram has about 150 million users worldwide.
