Loftin's Going Out Of Business

A Dothan store known for helping people make memories opened its doors for the last time today.

Loftin's party and wedding center has been in business for nearly 50 years.

The company has gone from renting heavy equipment to selling Halloween costumes, party supplies and decorations.

Owner Susan Kirkland says it's been an incredible experience.
“Weddings are always happy, birthday parties, corporate events are always fun. It's a wonderful job we've all had here. But the biggest part of that is I feel like through every one of those events, we've made new friends. Lifetime friends. So many of them.”

Kirkland says she's thankful for Loftin's customers over the years.

The store will have an auction February 27th to sell off remaining supplies.
