Geneva County Head Start Open After Shutdown

Geneva County Head Start teachers and support personnel say losing two weeks of pay is difficult.

Employees are glad to be back in the classroom due to the federal "shutdown" earlier this month.

The center serves over 60 pre-k students across Geneva County and has a total of ten staff members, including six teachers. The facility provides the children with breakfast, lunch and dinner.
