Flowers Hospital workers say they want to help the community understand healthcare.gov. They say they understand the website can become confusing, especially for those who aren't use to working with computers on a daily basis.
Counselors are there to help with the process of signing-up. They can assist with everything from explaining what information is needed to actually walking people through the process, step-by-step.
The counselors are offering services other than healthcare sign-ups.
"These counselors also will screen the people for other services such as medicate or any kind of disability, SSI disability, so they run the gamete,” said Talana Bell, Chief Financial Officer.
Flowers hospital officials say they will have counselors available every weekday and some weekends.
