Florala Facebook Scammer

Some Florala residents appear to be the latest targets of a scam involving Facebook and the publisher's clearing house sweepstakes.

Gayle Jordan received messages from a scammer posing as a representative from publisher's clearing house.

She reportedly wins "the million for life sweepstakes,” but there's one hitch.

Before she receives any winnings, she must wire $399 to a 3rd party.

Authorities say you should never give out your social security number bank account information or even your date of birth.
