Experts Question Morning Coffee


Most daily routines include turning on the coffee maker and downing your first cup, but now experts are questioning on when it is best to have your morning pick-me-up.

Health experts say the prime time is between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The reason? That is when your cortisol levels start to fall.

Cortisol is related to stress and alertness. The experts say drinking caffeine when your cortisol levels are high will not have a maximum effect.
