Dothan Houston County EMA Holds Weather Webinar

Houston County Emergency Management Officials held a webinar on Tuesday morning to discuss a plan of action for the next few days.

According to the Tallahassee Weather Center, the Houston County area can expect 2 to 5 inches of rain, between now and Wednesday afternoon.

"Just be cautious, use good sense. If you got water going across the road or anything like that, try not to cross them, take a different route. If you think you are going to have some flooding issues and it hasn't occurred yet, be thinking about what you can do, " says Steve Carlisle, Director of Dothan Houston County EMA.

Emergency Management officials also discussed flooding concerns for some county roads.

They say they're also monitoring the boat landings in both Gordon and Columbia.
