The upcoming US-China Manufacturing Symposium will be split into two dates. The event, originally scheduled for Nov. 10 through 12 will now be held in November of this year and March of 2014.
On Nov. 11, invited Dothan and regional leaders will come together to learn more about doing business with China. The second portion of the symposium will now be held from March 26 though 28 of 2014.
The second half of the symposium will include a large number of Chinese investors, plus US-China cultural activities. The City of Dothan and the Sozo Group are teaming up to put on the event.
The decision to expand the symposium comes in the wake of the ongoing government shutdown.
