Coldplay front-man Chris Martin is joining "The Voice" as a key advisor.
The singer won't be replacing any judges on the reality show, but will serve as the show's "key advisor." This season, Martin will guide contestants on song selection, stage presence, and vocal techniques during the battle round.
Martin is just one of the new changes NBC has made to the sixth season of the singing competition.
The show has also revised the format with live performances, which will start on April 20. The winner of the show will be announced on May 20.
