Honeysuckle Middle School have been selling paper chain links since Oct. 1, all in support of finding a cure for breast cancer.
School Officials put up the Chain of Cure Thursday.
So far they have raised $150.00.
School officials say they hope to exceed their goal from last year, which was $1,000.
They say this fundraiser is important because it's something that hits close to home.
"We started this last year when I had a little bit of a scare with breast cancer and we were trying to figure out a fundraiser so this was an institution from last year and it's inspired other schools now to kind of follow us, " says June Brown, Parent Teacher Organization Co-President at Honeysuckle Middle School.
The paper link sales will end on November 1st but school officials say they will keep the Chain of Cure up until the end of the school year.
