Jim Holley may be new to the Webb Police Department, but he is no rookie.

On Tuesday, Holley began his new title as the Webb Police Chief. He is taking his 20-plus year experience from Dothan to make the town as safe as possible for residents.

Holley is a former Dothan Police Department officer. While in the unit, he worked in just about every department. He plans on using that experience to make Webb as safe as possible.

“The message I have for residents is that we are here for them to make this place a better place for them to live, a safer place, and I am available 24-hours a day if anyone needs anything all they have to do is call,” said Holley.

Although Chief Holley has only been on the job for a few days, he has already covered child abuse cases and responded to a bad wreck on 84 east.
