The severe weather threat has ended for the Alabama, southwest Georgia and western Florida panhandle counties and will be ending for the remaining counties in the Fla panhandle counties during the early afternoon...
Currently, no severe thunderstorm warnings are in effect...
A few flash flood warnings may be needed for some Fla panhandle counties through the afternoon hours.
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH continues area-wide through Monday evening.
Heavy rains will be the main story over the next two days, with 2 to 4 inches of rain possible through tonight, and another 1 to 2 inches possible on Monday - especially south and east of Dothan...
Thus, a total of 4 to 6 inches of rain is possible by early Tuesday morning. Creeks and streams will need to be monitored for the next few days.
