The National Peanut Festival ends this weekend but there is still one more big event on schedule.
The annual parade will be on Saturday morning and that made float-builders to feel the pressure. For the last few weeks, the Houston County Farm Center has been a whirlwind of glitter and people.
Float-builders say that their days have been stressful but they are keeping their eye on the prize.
“Well actually it is about winning. We want to win and so what we do is spend a lot of time. Thinking about what we are going to do as far as the theme,” said Elijah White of Dothan.
The annual National Peanut Festival Parade will begin at 9:30 a.m.
