Suds can now be legally tapped in the city of progress.
The Enterprise City Council gave its toast of approval to a local draft beer measure passed by the Alabama legislature. The road to sell began with a petition drive in Enterprise last year.
Business owners said it places them on equal footing with similar sized cities in the area. Draft beer sales were expected to bring additional food and beverage establishments to Enterprise.
Officials said there were "no" plans to legalize Sunday alcohol sales' in the city.
