Daleville High School Participates in "Jeans for Teens" Drive

A Wiregrass student is doing more than finding a way to pay for a college education.

Daleville High School senior Clarissa Walker signed the school up for the “Teens for Jeans” drive.

The scholarship program awards $10,000 to the school that collects the most jeans. Walker will be entered into a drawing for a $4,000 scholarship.

The jeans are taken to Aeropostal and then distributed to homeless teens across the state. You can drop off slightly worn jeans at Daleville High School through Jan. 31.
