Dale County JROTC Cadets Work Towards Military Careers

DALEVILLE -- Thirty percent of Daleville High School students are taking steps towards their future, some even towards a military career.

The students, referred to as cadents, spend 90-minutes each day working on military skills.

Each student is a part of special team such as the Drill Team, Rifle Team and Color Guard.

Several members of the Daleville JROTC dominated the 2014 Bass Pro 600 Air Rifle Competition, the students shot 20 rounds in three different positions.

The Daleville High JROTC has won 36 State Championships since 1972.

The students travel many times a year to different competitions. They are only able to do this through donations. If someone would like to donate, he/she can follow this link:
