According to a Pew Survey, 73 percent of adults are active on social media sites, meaning that users need to clean up their online image more than ever.
First suggestion, chill with the selfies. While it was Oxford University’s word of the year in 2013 and the President succumbed to the urge, users should limit their selfie taking to only cool events.
Another big cleanup spot - stop posting pictures of your meals. Dinner companions often find it rude. However, there are exceptions to when you can take pictures of your food. For example, save it for a special occasion or really cool meal.
Next, stop tagging unflattering pictures of your friends; it’s the nice thing to do.
Finally, stop posting constant updates about your life and overwhelming your friend’s feeds.
