Black Friday marks the heart of the holiday shopping season. The state of Alabama could see more than 9.5 billion dollars in retail sales. The Alabama Retail Association says they are projecting a 2% growth across the state in sales for November and December. While this may not seem like a big jump, a 2% growth means 8.9 billion dollars. The association also expects state residents to spend another 712 million dollars online.
