Alabama State Troopers are on patrol making sure drivers make it safety to their spring break destination.
Trooper Kevin Cook says they are on the look out for speeders.
He says their cars are able to check the speed of drivers behind and in front of them.
He is also watching for people who may be driving under the influence, failing to yield and driving on the wrong side of the road.
"You are going to see us out here, you are are going to see an increased presence on the roadways, we are out here working, so please when you see the lights, start merging we want everyone to have a safe enjoyable spring break," said Cook.
Cook also wants to remind people to wear their seat belts.
