Several media outlets have gotten warnings about deadly letters being sent to U.S. senators.
Of the 100 letters reportedly sent, 10 are said to contain a deadly pathogen.
House Speaker Joe Boehner received a letter containing a powdery substance at one of his offices, but the powder was found to be harmless.
At least two other senators received similar letters, each with a harmless white powdery substance.
Additional senators could receive letters. Authorities warn senators to pay special attention to mail postmarked Portland, Oregon.
