Last night at approximately 7:00 PM, Officers with the Enterprise Police Department responded to 192 Coffee County Road 270 in Enterprise in reference to a domestic.

When officers arrived at the residence, they made contact with the complainant in front of the house.

Officers were informed that Rocky J. Beasley (32) was armed with a rifle and hiding in the woods behind the residence.

During this time, officers heard a gunshot from behind the residence.

Officers took cover as Beasley fired numerous rounds and moved from point to point of cover at the rear of the residence.

As officers attempted to determine Beasley’s location, he appeared in the open and complied with the officer’s instructions.

He was taken into custody without further incident.

During the crimes scene investigation it was determined that two police cars were struck by rounds.

Officers at the scene never returned fire due to an inability to determine Beasley’s location.

Beasley was arrested and charged with three counts attempted murder.

There were no injuries during the incident.
