Troy's Jamarius Henderson Reinstated Following Suspension

(TROY)-- Troy head football coach Neal Brown announced Monday that redshirt-sophomore running back Jamarius Henderson has been reinstated to the Troy team following a suspension that began on Saturday, Aug. 12.

Henderson will resume practicing with the Trojans on Tuesday. Troy opens the season at Boise State on Sept. 2.

Henderson joined the Troy Football Program back in August 2016 and sat out the 2016 season due to NCAA Transfer Policy after he transferred from the University of Memphis.

During his time at Memphis, Henderson had four rushing touchdowns on 60 carries and two receiving touchdowns on seven catches.

Before Memphis, Henderson played at Dale County High School for Head Coach Pate Harrison, leading the Warriors to a (25-2) record in his final two seasons and ran for an Alabama high school season record 3,483 yards as a senior while scoring 48 touchdowns. Henderson tallied 204 yards on 30 carries and one TD in the AHSAA Class 3A state championship game.
