Marquez White Hosts 3rd Annual "A Different Way Out" Football Camp

(WTVY) -- Former Northview Cougar and now Dallas Cowboys Marquez White is continuing to make an impact in his hometown.

White hosted his 3rd Annual "A Different Way Out" football camp over the weekend in Dothan to teach young athletes in the Wiregrass football drills, give tips on life, and become role models for the kids along the way.

"I got a family that loves me, have a daughter that loves me, and I'm just out here doing what I love to do," says Marquez White. "I'm having the best time of my life right now with these kids. All of these kids look up to me, they look up to the guys that are out here helping, and it's a fun environment."

This year over 120 boys and girls came out for the event and White was joined by Jacksonville Jaguar All-Pro Defensive Back Jalen Ramsey, San Francisco 49er Channing Stribling, Troy's Jalen Harris, Auburn's Kasey Cooper, and more to show these kids that there is "A Different Way Out" and that they can achieve their dreams of being a professional athlete.

"You never know who you're going to be a role model for now a days," says Jalen Ramsey. "So these kids out here, most of these kids out here, look up to all of us. They probably look up to some of the high school kids who are even out here."
