Charles Henderson takes down Rehobeth 28-9 with playoffs on the line

(WTVY) -- It was a chippy game from start to finish between Charles Henderson and Rehobeth. Both teams knew what was on the line: win and you're in the playoffs, lose you could see your season end early.

The Trojans went into hostile territory in Rehobeth and won 28-9 behind a brutal rushing attack led by Jared Wilson.

"It is good to get in the playoffs," says Charles Henderson Head Football Coach Brad McCoy. "Our expectations are that that should happen every year. It's good to win the region but we're certainly glad to get in the playoffs. I'm proud of this football team we started out slow and my hats off to Rehobeth, they had a good game plan and played hard."

For CHHS, their spot is secure in the playoffs; but for Rehobeth, their path gets that much tougher. A lot of "what ifs" coming up for the Rebels. Teams need to lose, Rehobeth needs to win and they have one last shot as they take on Eufaula on October 27th for their final game of the season.
