Michael Elroy Clark, a resident of Ashford, Alabama, died Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Flowers Hospital. He was 71.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 22, 2017 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his Go Fund Me Account under Michael “Mike” Clark.

Mr. Clark was employed by Circle City Paints for more than 20 years. He served in the Coast Guard and was an avid fisherman, loving father, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert Clark and Bannie Motley Clark.

Survivors include his only son, John Carl Clark (Marissa); two grandchildren, Tyler, and Alyssa; four nieces, two nephews; and a sister, Jackie Mayhan.
