ATLANTA, Ga. (NBC News Channel) -- Sometimes the best laid plans go awry.

Just ask one cameraman from The Weather Channel.

The camera was in the perfect place to capture Monday's implosion of the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

But, just as we see smoke coming from the roof --- a bus enters the shot.

And while it sat there for only 15 seconds or so.

That was enough to block the entire implosion from view.

Of course, once the bus pulled out the perfect view was back.

But, all it showed was smoke.
