ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WTVY) — Skaters in Enterprise will be grinding their way across some asphalt soon. The city plans on doing a ribbon cutting for its new skate park. The park is around 12,000 square feet and has grind rails and quarter-pipes. It also has lights above, allowing skaters to ride at night. It used to be a batting cage at the city’s recreation park but was redone to make the surface level. Officials say, they hope the new park will bring in skaters across enterprise and from neighboring cities. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 10:00 am Saturday at the park on Lee Street.
