DOTHAN Ala. (WTVY)- Late 2016 Dale County Rescue Mission store wasn't able to keep its doors open.
But Friday was the grand opening for the agency's new building in Daleville.
The Mission's Executive Director says due to lack of leadership and funds the Rescue Mission had to close.
They are being allowed to operate in a building on Donnell Drive, rent-free.
That’s why their new name is Mission Point Market.
This thrift store makes it convenient and affordable for families needing the agency in Daleville.
In addition to donations, the Rescue Mission is also looking for grants to help keep the doors open and help fund other programs.
This now makes 3 locations for the Dale County Rescue Mission: Daleville, Ozark and Dothan.
