President Trump was in the Florida panhandle on Friday night, headlining a campaign -style event in Pensacola.
"Let me begin by wishing each of you a very Merry Christmas. I can think of no better present for the American people that giving you a massive tax cut."
The White House says the President went there to thank Florida voters for supporting his agenda.
"Tonight we're speaking right to American people, and we're going to cut straight through the fake news media."
Mister Trrump's speech focused on economic issues.
"Stock market hitting another all time record. 86 times since election day. 86 times it hit a record. And we're gonna keep it going."
On Saturday, Mister Trump will attend the opening of the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum in Jackson.
The President also repeated his endorsement of Roy Moore in Alabama's Special Senate Election next Tuesday.
