OZARK, Ala. (WTVY) -- A petition was presented in front of the Ozark city council Tuesday.
It is in reference to the teen challenge program, possibly being moved into the Thompkins Elementary School building.
It's a program, that through religious teachings and counseling, helps those with substance abuse problems embrace a drug free life.
Opponents argue about the location itself, saying it will put people on the north-east side of town in danger.
WTVY contacted a board member but he declined a request to be on camera--noting a registered letter was sent out, informing residents of the purchase.
