Obesity risk increases with night shift work

(NBC News Channel) - Working at night may wreak havoc on your waistline.

A new study found night shift work is linked to a 29% increased risk of becoming obese or overweight.

Permanent night workers had a higher risk of weight gain than those who rotated shifts.

Experts say modifying work schedules from time to time could help reduce these risks.
