Panama City Beach, FL (WTVY) The holiday season may be upon us, but for some, it's never too early to start thinking about summer travel plans.

Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport has announced its summer 2018 flight schedule.

After last summer's success, the airport will be adding Denver, Colorado as a non-stop flight out of ECP.

Denver will be joining other cities offering non-stop flights like Austin and Chicago.

Executive Director Parker McClellen tells us the addition of Austin last year was a success.

"Austin was a raving success. Texas is a great market for our region and as you can see, in the summers, we fill up the airplanes," says Executive Director Parker McClellan "So we had, last summer we had almost 100-thousand people each month utilizing the airport. Those are all great numbers and we're really excited about it."

Beginning June 10, Southwest will service ECP with non-stop and easy direct flights on Saturdays either to or from the following cities:

Saturday Non-Stop Flights:
Atlanta (ATL)
Austin (AUS)
Baltimore/Washington (BWI)
Chicago (MDW)
Dallas (DAL)
Denver (DEN)
Houston (HOU/IAH)
Nashville (BNA)
St. Louis (STL)

Saturday Direct Flights:
Amarillo (AMA)
Burbank (BUR)
Omaha (OMA)
Phoenix (PHX)
Seattle (SEA)
Tampa (TPA)

All airlines including Delta and United are expected to increase flight activity or adding larger aircraft through the Summer Season.
