SOUTH WALTON, FL -- (WTVY) A multiple choice test presented to a seventh-grade civics class gave students an option many parents are not comfortable with.
The question focused on a congressman who supported gun control, asking the students what they think the National Rifle Association (NRA) should do.
While three of the four options can be considered reasonable, the fourth gave students the option to 'shoot him'.
"It was an elimination question that the teacher meant to be a simple, obviously elimination question that was obviously a poor choice of elimination question. It was a ridiculous question, obviously," said Emerald Coast Middle School Principal, Jeff Infinger.
Infinger said he has addressed this issue with the teacher. The test has been reviewed and that answer choice was removed.
