BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AL.com) — Casting directors for the upcoming Birmingham movie "Bigger" are looking for more extras, including bodybuilders and fitness fanatics, to appear in the film.

An open casting call for extras will be held this Wednesday night, Sept. 27, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 24e Health Club, 1901 Sixth Ave. North in downtown Birmingham.

"We are particularly looking for fitness people, but we do need to cast many, many others," Steve Lee Jones, one of the film's producers, told AL.com. "We need bodybuilders, we need the fitness crowd, and we need regular folks, as well.

"Pretty much anybody who comes out can probably get an extra spot in the movie," he added. "We need upwards of 500 people."

"Bigger" stars Tyler Hoechlin from Richard Linklater's "Everybody Wants Some!!" and MTV's "Teen Wolf" as Joe Weider and Aneurin Barnard of the summer hit and early Oscar favorite "Dunkirk" as Ben Weider.

Australian bodybuilder Calum von Moger, who won the World Fitness Federation's 2015 Mr. Universe title, plays a young Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Filming will take place in locations around Birmingham and in Mobile beginning Oct. 9 and continuing through mid-November.
