DOTHAN, Al. (WTVY) -- Road work started on Highway 231 in Dothan Monday morning. Crews are extending a culvert and repairing a slope near mile post 27. That's just north of the state troopers office. All this week, the south-bound outside lane will be closed. Law enforcement reminds people to slowdown and always be aware of construction equipment. Speeding through this construction zone can cost you more than $250. The project is expected to last several months.
