Milky Moo's celebrates patriotism with free ice cream for children

ENTERPRISE, Al. (WTVY) - One way to teach kids about patriotism this Fourth of July, is with ice cream!

All three Milky Moo's locations in Enterprise, Ozark and Headland are participating in the "I Pledge Project."

Children 12 and under just have to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and get a free small cone.

Hundreds of ice cream shops across the country are participating in the project. It's a way to encourage kids to learn about our Nation's freedom, especially for our young people who live so close to a military installation.

"Patriotism is very important in our community,” said Enterprise Milky Moo’s manager Jill Campbell. “With us being a prominent member in the community and our community being who supports us, we find that it's important to participate in things that promote patriotism in our town."

Milky Moo's is open until 9:00 P.M.
