JCPenney competing for holiday dollars

By  |

(WTVY) -- A staple of malls across the country, retail giant JCPenney is hoping to attract holiday customers away from other chains like Wal-Mart and Target.

This comes as the company, which announced it was closing a number of stores earlier in 2017, has had an over 30% rebound in its stock.

From the 22nd to the 24th, their entire store is 60% for the holidays, with discounts on a variety of items from toys to clothes, jewelry to luggage. There's also discounts on toys and video games.
